Visa and Stay back:

The application process for a Hungarian student visa involves four simple steps:

  • Accept an invitation from a Hungarian university.
  • Book an appointment.
  • Complete the application procedures.
  • Receive an answer.

The student visa remains valid until the completion of your educational program. If you wish to stay longer after your visa expires, you can search for a job and obtain a work permit. Upon obtaining a student visa, students in higher institutions in Hungary will receive a residence permit. After a certain period, they can apply for a national residence permit or an interim permanent residence permit.
