Annually, approximately 5,000 students from over 70 partner countries receive this scholarship. Eligibility for various subjects depends on existing cooperation programs, and applications, along with all required documents, typically need to be submitted by mid-January for studies starting the same year.

Visa and Stay back:
The application process for a Hungarian student visa involves four simple steps:
The student visa remains valid until the completion of your educational program. If you wish to stay longer after your visa expires, you can search for a job and obtain a work permit. Indian students with a residence permit for studies can work full-time during their studies for up to 24 hours per week and for a maximum of 90 days or 66 working days per year outside their study term.
Upon obtaining a student visa, students in higher institutions in Hungary will receive a residence permit. After a certain period, they can apply for a national residence permit or an interim permanent residence permit. EEA citizens receive a permanent registration card after five years of uninterrupted residence in Hungary.
